September, 2011: Mondsee, near Salzburg, Austria. Several members of The Kings of Herts Chorus joined Brothers in Harmony, a scratch outfit also drawing on Just Acappella and Oxford Harmony through the auspices of the Smith brothers. Wives and concubines went too. Pictures of vocal performances are hard to come by, whereas snaps of everybody eating and drinking are not, so this collection will be updated from time to time as more photographic treasures are unearthed. The occasion was the 150th Anniversary of the local singing club Sängerbund Mondsee and the barbershop harmony went down as well as the local beer. Just look at the queue to get in, bottom right! The genre is not established in Austria, so the chaps found themselves in the position of missionaries…
