Harpenden Barbershop Harmony Chorus (performing as The Kings of Herts) are a mixed but mainly male chorus singing four part acapella. We focus on barbershop arrangements of popular songs, ranging from the  traditional up to present day classics. We also sing other styles such as folk, sea shanties, country, etc. We are a relaxed group with a strong emphasis on fun but we aim to achieve a high standard of singing and to compete nationally.

We regularly sing at local events for charity and social gatherings such as parties and weddings - plus often at the pub - if we have been booked or not!!!

We rehearse most Thursdays at 7.30pm at:-

We absolutely love to see visitors. (There’s nothing like singing to an audience...however small). Whether you just want to sit and listen or join in and have a sing with us. We always finish with a beer or a glass of wine

and some informal singing which is great fun. If you are an experienced singer or perhaps thinking of having a go or just fancy a nice evening out we would make you very welcome.
