Barbershop singing is fun! As the Kings and ladies a cappella group Welwyn Harmony demonstrated when they got together for the preliminary rehearsal of their forthcoming concert collaboration at the Sandpit Theatre in Marshalswick, St Albans.
The two choruses, both formed in the eighties and led in rehearsal by Harmony’s Nickie James, pictured on the left, are joining forces for “An Evening of Musical Delight” on Friday and Saturday, November 29 and 30.
They will be singing a wide-ranging repertoire, together and separately, and there will be slick choreography and dancing from the award-winning ladies chorus and some zany surprises in the costume department from the men!
